Re: 2019 Texas Smallbore State Championship - June 1-2, 2019

Great match, hotter than all get out. Good food, lots of great silhouette shooters. Special thanks to Ronnie Paige, Charles Sullivan, Tori Sullivan , John, Donnie Harvey, the target setters and the gentlemen who prepared the food. Dustin Flint, the Louisiana Legend, ran away with the trophies for bo...

Re: Anschutz Options

Chime........ Elisabeth shoots a factory 1710 barreled action with a single stage trigger. She has a Pharr stock on it and a Premier 18-40. The gun has 40,000+ rounds down the barrel and still shoots great. Lately she has taken a shine to a Treebone maple stocked 40x that was built for Paul Freeman ...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

49er, I want to shoot the Martini in the 22 BPCR, not lever action. Plus, it doesn't have a tube magazine. I can't believe it's not legal for that. Brent, Dustin does shoot lever gun. All 3. He runs the Louisiana State lever match in December. He runs a good match. A little thin on prizes ( I got a ...

Re: bolt failure

think 54.18 bolt. It broke the back part of the bolt off. Just in front of where the handle is/was, and jammed the bolt in the action. Yes, the bolt body. Shrapnel included the bolt handle, the black spacer behind it, the indicator spring and pin, firing pin, cap and aft part of the bolt Body. The s...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

Guess I'll have to dig out an old Martini and put a scope on it and try out BPCR. I've got a couple from 1870 -1880 that were converted to 22lr about 1900. You could probably use that martini in a local match if they had the room, but it's not a "legal" rifle per 22bpcr rules. What???? An original ...
