Re: Public Appeciation for Steve Wooster and the CBC

2019 Score_Sheet_CBC revised.xls We try to make it for the shooters. Over the last 20 years or so we have made changes to get the match running smooth and fast. If we find something wrong we fix it. We have 5 banks of double stacked animals, 4 target setters and 5 relays, started and 9am and was ha...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

Had second match this year. I saved my first match score sheet, so I just changed scores and sent it off. I usually have the same people show up at my matches. So I guess what I am stating is that it is easier than messing around with the books. If someone don't show I just back space them out. Or i...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

I also just had our first match of the year. Fill out first form, took about 20 minutes. We had 25 shooters. Then saved it and went back in and changed the scores for the hunter rifle. Took about 10 minutes. Was not a problem. Next match I will just take out people that didn't show or add new ones. ...

Re: Big Changes

Has any body that sent in there match info received anything back from NRA? I guess with the no book thing, people that don't shoot anything except monthly matches probably won't buy any cards. And I guess if your classifications are all master you probably don't need a card either. If you show up a...

Re: New and Improved "Chip Free" Update on Nationals Numbers

That was a smart idea to put that in the program. Nothing worse than having to redo relays sheets on the fly. Poor planning on your part is not the match directors problem. :ymapplause:

Re: Update on Nationals Numbers

A person's ego is one of the problems. They take a look at the course and think this should be easy. Then they shoot the match and find out that it isn't that easy. And shooting beside a guy that just shot a 39 really makes it worse. Over the 30 years I have been doing this I have seen a lot of that...

Re: Update on Nationals Numbers

I usually don't voice my opinion, but this is a interesting topic. It is hard to get new people shooting, because its not a easy sport we do. Smallbore is not to bad, but Hp is pretty hard at times. With muzzle blast from the guy next to you, and the recoil. As for the factory rifle, we had a person...
