Re: Winchester 94 jammed on me.

As far as I can determine by the photo.... Same part I bought and tried..... Unsuccessfully. Package is marked for Post 64 Win. https://photos.smugmug.com/Other/Forum/i-nT3pHdZ/0/9c0032b4/S/IMG_20200223_121414-S.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/Other/Forum/i-ttmB4LD/0/e355dd3c/S/IMG_20200223_121503-S....

Re: Winchester 94 jammed on me.

I have heard of the milled lifter for post 64 guns but never found one myself. Bought one that was stated to be correct but it would not fit. Your story sounds just like mine. Bought a "like new" Canadian Commemorative and, while it looked perfect, it would jam and would not feed. After discussions ...

Re: Winchester 94 jammed on me.

If it has the stamped lifter I would guess the lifter is bent a little. Hard to see but a little will really disturb the function of the action. If that's not it I would then guess you did not cycle it fully or briskly enough.

Re: Annual Silhouette Classification FEE

I'll bet some enterprising young swain can make a nickel hustling an app for one's personal scores and classifications....then just like that a fella will be hooked in to the electronic world :ymsick: Maybe mother NRA can be linked in so we can all go hands free (whatever that means). In regard to ...

Re: Heart of Texas Silhouette Club closes

Sad news for the HOTSA folks and HP shooters in that part of the state. Just yesterday I helped our guys unload some high-power animals which were picked up from Greenwood Gun Club (Brazoria, TX.). About 20+ rams, 20+ turkeys, and 5 or 6 pigs. With HOTSA closing down this may bump the idea of putti...

Re: FS: Anschutz 54 maple sporter stock

Beautiful stock for sure. One more photo of the top showing the entire barrel channel please...? Trying to figure out how a #4 profile would look at the end of the stock with the cut being for a larger barrel....

Thanks!

711B for our purposes. CCI Standard Velocity shoots better in every one of my rimfires.

Heart of Texas Silhouette Club closes

Per email from Mark Pharr last evening. The Heart of Texas Silhouette Club is now closed. Per information I received, Jack Garrett is meeting with board members and attempting to find a new location for the club. The single email from Mark is all the information I have to date. This is terrible news...

Re: .357 Rem Max

Don't want the carbon ring.... Use Max brass - try Hornady XTP H.P. 158 gr. or 180 gr XTPT H.P. w/ 6 - 6.5 Solo 1000 or TiteGroup or Try ~10 gr of H110 and work upward. Stop at 13 -13.5 or so. Should shoot.... Standard disclaimers should be assumed as I only know this did not blow up in my Marlin CB...

Re: American Silhouette Shooters in China

Sorry to see this thread devolve into a thread about which group of morally bankrupt manipulative self serving con men are telling the "truth."

What a sick joke.

Seriously scary sh*t. I am a Huge reader and one of my favorite genres is the apocalyptic/end of times/civilization. Huge selection of this type of scenario available. I have read 12 Monkeys and it scares the poo out of me - because it is totally within the real of possibility. Could actually happen...

Re: Reloading question....

So you want to load 400-600 rounds an hour to shoot 5 rounds every 2.5 minutes. 80 rounds a day...... :P Have two 550's and 4 SDB's right now. Sold 2 650's and 4 1050's not to long ago. 20 years with Dillon equipment in my reloading room. With that said I use the Dillons for pistol and the single st...
