Re: .22lr ammo box/board

Dpreston, Those look pretty cool - all tactical! They hold 80 rounds - which is 2 silhouette matches worth (at 40 shots per match). For a 60 round match, you have some extras. I think for this year's State Championship I'll pass, but will keep it in mind for the future! Thanks for the idea! Shooting...

Re: Need HIGH Rings that are light weight

DrGunner (and anyone else who might be interested), I've talked with a fellow Silhouette Shooter, who also makes rings for our sport - in various heights! They are another option to add into our "tool box"! Below is a link to his rings on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scope-Rings-for-11mm-Dovetail-...

Re: Silhouette Open Bolt Indicator/Chamber Flag

TDB,
Those look too cool!
It's great to have another product displaying our Silhouette Animals.

I just may have to get some of these for the NC Smallbore Silhouette State Championships! They would make great give-away prizes!

Keep up the good work!

Re: Does anyone remember the Thomasville sport shooters club?

Just heard back from family in Thomasville. . . "The county is building a nice new range, but haven't heard anything lately about the old range, nor what all they will shoot at the new one." Sorry, no help. Maybe that will allow time for more practice so that when they do open up, you can go up ther...

Thanks Jeanne, I've read through the document, but not studied it yet, but have a question. The document states "• 19.17.1 Reclassification During a Pistol Match - ...." emphasis mine That section used to be titles "Reclassification During a Registered Match -" emphasis mine Does that mean if you "b...

Hey Dennis, The link worked fine. Those were some good pictures! I'd sure like to shoot that match some day! Whoever said those trophies/awards were cool was RIGHT! They looked awesome! I wonder where they can be found? I'm keeping my eyes open for something a little different to use at my State Cha...

Re: 8.5x25 30mm tube and Annie 1712 make weight?

So Greg, Your above reply is the first reference to a 2019 Florida State Championship Match in Jacksonville, Fl.? Where was this match announced? It was not announced on NRA Coming Events. It was not announced on this forum steelchickens. The best way to lower attendance is to never advertise that ...

Re: 8.5x25 30mm tube and Annie 1712 make weight?

What are my options on composite stocks for a 1712? Hey 308, It's your money, but we'll be glad to help you spend it!!! Another alternative for a lightweight stock is Wayne Merier in Brunswick GA. Come to the FL State Championship in Jacksonville on March 23/24 and you can likely meet Mr. Merier, b...

Re: Texas North Carolina 2019 State Conflict

Well atomicbrh, You've posed a good question! I guess each individual will have to answer for themselves, but. . . In the Mountains of Western North Carolina in June, the temperature is mild and the humidity is low (but not so low your lips crack when you smile)!! You decide - Mr & Mrs Mississippi H...
