Thank you for the “heads up”, I did the survey and it was simple.

Re: 2020 National Championship Dates

I am sure I will hear about this post from someone but here it goes. I like the idea of a practice day, I can roll into Whittington whenever I get there; I do not need to try and make it for a practice match. It also lets me check my zeros and shake some of the cobwebs off. I also get to visit with ...

Re: Ruger American Rimfire Question

It is not an attachment, without that piece it is not a stock. I have a 10/22 with the same stock, I was never worried about it. If someone really gives you grief, tell them it is to keep the sling swivel on, because that is specifically allowed by the rules. That piece is what the stock swivel scr...

Ruger American Rimfire Question

A friend of mine is looking to buy a Ruger American Rimfire and I am concerned that the replaceable length of pull module might run afoul of section 3.1.1 in the rule book. Specifically the part about no attachments. Are Ruger Rimfire American rifles with the replaceable length of pull module consid...

I'm in it for the food. Louisiana puts on the best matches followed by anywhere in Mexico. Blue corn chips are a bonus.

Gordo
There will be salsa and blue corn chips at this weekend’s Colorado SB Silhouette State Match.

I can guarantee it. B-)

Re: $20,000 Worth of Prizes added at Raton

It is almost enough to make me want to abandon silhouette for shotgun sports.
Not to worry, I have too much SK on hand to just give it away and buy a shotgun reloading press.

Re: Would anyone else like to see the weight limit change?

:-t No. [-x I have a Annie with a bumped 6.2 to 20 and it only weighs 7.5 pounds. Jerry, please correct me don't shoot with an expensive carbon fiber stocked Anschutz 1712? I argue that not everyone can afford to build a rifle with a custom stock. I am speculating here but maybe one reason why Lever...

Would anyone else like to see the weight limit change?

My question is there anyone else who would like to see the weight limit on Small Bore Hunting rifles increased? With Leupold discontinuing the popular Silhoutte scopes should the silhouette committee consider raising the weight limit to allow heavier 30mm tubes variable powered scopes to be used? I ...

Re: Any rule changes ?

I just want to assure everyone that we (Ridgway Rifle Club) do want the Nationals but on a rotating basis. We have a great staff as well as community support. But it is just to much to do it every year. If we could rotate sb/hp one year and LAR the next we would be very happy and would be able to p...

Re: Any rule changes ?

If Ridgway is not interested in hosting it the perhaps the Nationals should be moved to another permanent location?

Other NRA National Championships are held at a single location and I cannot see why the discussion to do the same with the SB and HP Nationals shouldn’t be held?

Re: Any rule changes ?

DavidABQ,please stop with the false news of Ridgway ( spelled with no e),that it is their or NRA intent to have Nationals there on a permanent basis.Ridgway is perfectly content with the alternating format. This kind of rumor causes only conflict and does this sport no benefit. What does matter is ...

Re: Any rule changes ?

David, we just got back from the 2019 Smallbore Nationals at Ridgway. That area of Pennsylvania is pretty much an epicenter of silhouette with many, many locals being active competitors. Unlike Raton where competitors and match administrators swoop in for the match and swoop out. The Pennsylvania p...
