Re: 6.5mm Bullet for the Close Animals

If you haven't made a chamber cast now would be a good time to do it. Its best to start with that and eliminate that as an issue first. Then you can do experiments with loads if the chamber meets sammi specks. You can do it yourself with products like Repro-Rubber or similar products for a few bucks.

Re: Flinch!

Whenever I practice I bring my .22 and switch guns. It will definitely help fix your flinch. :-?

Re: Target Rules

Its not an issue of aesthetics but one of disproportionate size. As I said the current foot rule could cause pigs to spin and stay standing. Having huge feet makes rail hits left or right of it become a hit. Not that thats such a bad thing if you miss a lot but will make pig counts go way up artific...

Re: Target Rules

The issue is the size of the feet relative to the size of the pig. They are disproportionately opposed.

Re: NRA Support?

I was cleaning out my back room and found a bunch of pins for CB. If anyone would like them let me know I'll send them off. They are in a Plano fishing box to keep them separate.

Re: Target Rules

Others have mentioned the issue of one foot having potential to leave a pig if it spins. The current rule does that too. So I guess the rule should be two feet but they are much to big as they are now. 2x2 would be a good size as to leave a gap between the legs for elimination of that problem. As fa...

Re: Marlin Hot Barrel

Almost all LA rifles do that. It depends mostly on how quickly the match goes. Does the gun have time to cool down between relays? What powder are you using, are they hot/max loads? How are you holding the gun does that change as you shoot? These were never ment to be match target rifles but some gu...

Target Rules

Hi Folks. I'm trying to figure out why the NRA decided to make all the feet on the 1/2 scale pistol and SB targets the same size 2X4. While the feet on the chicken, Turkey and Ram is fine the feet on the pig is just odd. Why can't it just be one foot pad between both legs which would make the target...
