Re: Silhouette ID Cards

Got 8 of 9, 6 were correct. Not sure why they all had to come in separate envelopes. Now to see if I can keep from loosing one or more.

Re: Weatherby CFP

Looks like a nice find! A bolt action is okay for NRA long range and unlimited pistol if you can find a place offering those matches. I'm not sure how active NRA pistol silhouette is anymore. We began offering NRA hunters pistol with our lever gun matches and I can't get any traction with that. You ...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

If ya'll remember the first year we did "online" match approval that was 48 individual matches that I had to get approved... they didn't have it set up that first year to input multiple dates for a monthly match.... Hopefully this will not be as "painful" the first year.... There is still room for ...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

I asked the NRA about tournament numbers. For example, I was told when you host Smallbore Silhouette Rifle and Smallbore Hunting Silhouette Rifle on the same day there is only one tournament number. I stand corrected. Just looked at the tournament approval forms and the NRA did combine the standard...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

Can someone explain the procedure with multiple 40 round matches per date...i.e. 2 HP and 2Hunter? Write slowly...I'm old Each approved match that you signed up for has a tournament ID number. You should have received the ID numbers by email and hard copy. You submit scores for the competitors who ...

Re: Silhouette Cookie Cutters

Jay, Elisabeth loved them thanks. The set I got from you had 2 chickens and no turkeys, can I get another set for me, with 2 turkeys and no chickens? Color doesn't matter. I'll swap E for a chicken. thanks Pat Well don't I feel stupid. Terribly sorry about that. I will get another set out to you. Jay

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

"We" have decided the same.... I also know of 2 match directors that are fairly certain "they" are not going to play unless it is REALLY easy and their matches won't get reported this year and they won't bother to approve them next.... Pretty sure it's not going to be a isolated incident and should...

Re: NRA Score Reporting Form

We have decided not to use the manual form and will wait for the web based system to go online. Once the scoring system is online we will use the master score sheets from each match to bring everything current. This all assumes we will have classification cards by then.

Re: Big Changes

You guys are hilarious! Whether we chiseled our scores on stone tablets or were able to magically think them into the cloud, it has little to no bearing on attracting younger shooters. For most, our sport is difficult to become modestly proficient, which I consider to be a good shooter. Our sport is...

Re: Big Changes

Fun times.... I was thinking how this is going to shake out and if we have to report match scores for every competitor after every match.... wow..... some of us will have 15 - 30 individual competitor numbers to enter with a score at home after every monthly match.... WAY easier then jotting down a...

Re: Big Changes

Has anyone heard what the cost to the competetor is going to be? From Aaron - "2019 There will be no fees collected. In 2020 there may be a per shooter per tournament fee and that would be turned in to the NRA Competitive Shooting Division. This is the same place that you would send in any payments...

Re: Big Changes

One does what one must. Since your season's started is there an online reporting site? Not yet. Aaron said to mail in our scores until the system was up and running. I have no idea how they will correlate any of that to each competitor prior to issuing classification cards and ID#'s for those witho...

Re: Big Changes

Easy does it. There's an ongoing discussion with Aaron regarding the need and practicality of sending in score pages for each discipline. Quite frankly just like with the books, the match director checked your classification and in this transition the match director should be able to 'certify' both...
