If you are worried about your credit card info being stolen, send CC a USPS MO after you order.

Re: Interesting (Steelchickens) Statistics...

Are there really silhouette shooters in Germany? If I go on holiday there, it would be great to shoot there.

Re: How many air rifles???

As I wrote, I've been into airrifles since 1978. I grew up in Northern Illinois and airrifle shooters were far and few between. While some of my friends on the East Coast, there were numerous shooters. I'm just adding my view to the conversation. Many of the (air rifle) Field Target crowd are into b...

Re: How many air rifles???

Brent, Let me guess that you are located in a sparsely populated area? Not the East Coast, West Coast, or FL, LA ? Normally where there is a denser population we'll find airgun shooters. On the Plains, mountains, and arrid area (desert) less likely. Reason is that airrifles don't have the reach to e...

Re: How many air rifles???

I do not shoot Airrifle Silhouette, however, have been into airguns since 1978 (if you know what a Wischo, is, you'd understand). Why won't Airrifle Silhouette grow at more clubs? Let me explain why. When we lived in the Nothern Virginia/Washington DC area I shot Field Target in Maryland (DIFTA club...

WTB-Left Hand Smallbore Hunter with Composite stock

I'm looking for a Left Hand Smallbore Hunter rifle that has maximum drop in Toe (Butt). It could be wood, only I've seen Composite stocks with lots of drop in the Toe (butt). Ideally with a LH bolt, however, realizing that compromise with a RH bolt maybe needed. I've shot SB Silhouette for about 7 y...

Re: Question

Shot my personal best with a 39AS. Barrel is slightly thicker entire length (more frontal weight if you like it - I do). Rebounding hammer can be eliminated and trigger just as smooth as an older 39A. Best reason is you don't have a @)(*&&# person using a steel rod and wearing down the microgroove r...

Re: Winter shoots

Cavalier (CRPC) in VA shoots every 2nd Sat. And we are a Southern state. It can get cold, snow, or have freezing rain, and we still shoot (we do have the occasional heater) :-). SBLR, PCCLA.

Marty,

Did you shoot at the October match? I shoot at CRPC. Was it the Lever matches or the small bore silhouette?

Re: FWB 300S

Also choose a scope that is reinforced to take the recoil. The FWB300 rides on a sledge. Or a cheap scop (for often replacement). The 300s rifles are recoilless, so any scope can be used. I have had a Leupold on mine for ages. Incorrect, they appear recoilless, they do ride on what is called a sled...

Re: How far will you drive for a local match?

24 miles (30+ mins). SB and PC only. While that sounds good, I gave up shooting Field Target as that drive was 125 miles one way...into Maryland.

There are trade-offs on locations for the shooting sports.

Other clubs are 100 miles (about right Boats?) to Chesapeake. And 90 miles to Fairfax.

Greentop. True? Never thought they'd ever have that.

We'll have to meet at the next match. I couldn't make the last one, was working.

Really never had a problem with my Remlin paperclip extractor; after a deburr and polish. Serious reply here.
