Re: Scoped Lever action silhouette

I did a little experiment with this and put a fixed 4X duplex-reticle Leupold scope on my 39A and zeroed it for all the distances. I set up the half-scale targets and shot a match - I shot a 40/40. Then I shot another match and gave myself only 30 seconds to shoot each bank of 5 targets - I shot ano...

Re: Zwolle Work Day Match - March 30, 2019

Fenway Park and the range in Zwolle are both: 1. Old but still kicking; 2. Unimproved - basically the same now as they were 50 years ago; 3. The site of great classic moments in their respective sports; 4. Beautiful. You are right that they both have lousy parking - you can get stuck in the Zwolle p...

Re: 2019 Shamrock Silhouette Shootout - St. Patrick's Day Weekend

In an effort to get non-silhouette shooters out to shoot some type of silhouette, we have been experimenting with highpower and smallbore "Benchrest Silhouette" and "F-class Silhouette." This weekend the benchrest shooters at our airgun club tested "Air Rifle Benchrest & F-Class Silhouette" and they...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

This lengthy post of name calling and irrational behavior has reinforced my choice last year to sell all my lever guns and shoot BPCR with adults who do not want to fight about everything. I shot lever gun before it became a NRA sport, then ever year except last year. I watched it deteriorate to th...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

As usual, I deeply regret starting a thread on this forum. It has predictably devolved into name calling and finger pointing. As juvenile as this has become, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of you post "Yeah? Well, you're a bigger one." In the future I will find some other vehicle for disseminat...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

I don't know how many times you can be asked for reasons behind what you want. After six pages of this without you giving any real answers I guess we'll just have to suppose that you don't have any reasons. I will apologize to you again for whatever I said online that has triggered you; but after an...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

Be that as it may, he is the worst ambassador for his sport that I have ever seen. And highpower certainly has a reputation, deserved or not, that fits with that ambassadorship. Just sayin'. LOL, worst EVER!!!! That's a big statement from someone who has never met me. Scoped lever gun would have no...

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

Brent, I'm truly sorry if I offended you, again. We should see if the moderators will create a safe space on here for you so that you don't have to be exposed to my ideas. Two things: First, I didn't suggest you shoot "with me." You asked for three new Silhouette disciplines to be created so that yo...

Yes, it is hard to understand. You wrote that you want to shoot with a scope, then you wrote that you don't want to shoot with a scope. That's hard to understand.

Dustin,

Not to be argumentative, but based on a recent (1879 or so) rule change, mules are also allowed now.

Greg
LOLOLOL - that rule change is basically useless because the mules are not allowed to use lenses so they can't see where they're going.
