Bullet design was analyzed with sophisticated computer modelling for in-flight characteristics. They discovered that a flatnose projectile was ...

Re: Anyone shoot a Vudoo?

Does anyone shoot or have experience shooting a Vudoo Rifle? https://www.vudoogunworks.com/rifles/ I've heard mixed reviews on their fully built rifles and the posted groups I've seen over on accurate shooter weren't impressive. I don't know of anyone who has built a rifle just off of the action th...

Re: Rifle cant

Here's a good thread where we hashed this out last year... http://www.steelchickens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11747 I saw the title of this thread and thought for a second that one was back. http://www.teamhatchshootingfacility.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/beatdeadhorse5.gif That thread is a...

Re: Bedding my Remington 700

I'd start by leaving the rifle in the freezer overnight and then trying to knock it loose while it's still cold.

Re: Switching ammo

If I stay within the same family of ammo (all Lapua for example) is this as big of a concern? In short, no. I would run a couple of dry patches through once the barrel is seasoned to start the test so that the barrel's "dirtiness" is controlled between testing batches. Season the barrel with the ch...

Re: Switching ammo

The biggest concern is when you're testing ammo of different lube types rather than the smaller variances that can be had. If you're testing a heavy waxed ammo like Eley and a thinner type oily based lube like RWS without cleaning between, you're going to get some results that aren't very useful as ...

Re: Air Rifle Silhouette Equipment List

Bring the discarded Christmas tree from the Biltmore Dining Hall on your way down. I think it would look good at the range. http://www.teamhatchshootingfacility.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/thumbup.gif That's funny Doodaddy! I'd have to fold it up to "fit" on my Chevy Silverado, then we'd have to...

Plus Match Director stuff here AND trying to start-up Air Rifle Silhouette here - have...

Re: New Tikka .22 rimfire

From the rimfire central post, Whittaker guns has them available for preorder at $420 I'll get one later in the year I think they will really have a stronghold in the market if the rimfires share the same accuracy that the centerfires are reported to have if they can open up a few more models. The ...
