Re: .22LR Standard or Highspeed?

I shoot Aguila Super Extra Standard Velocity 1130FPS exclusively in my Henry. Stupid accurate and about the cheapest ammo I can find. I've never rang a ram or a pig. I take down the majority of pistol cartridge rams, but have rang more than several as well.

Re: Which 30-30 for Lever Action Rifle Silhouette

DooDaddy. I've noticed that too. The Canadians always sell for about $600 while the exact same commemorative with Buffalo Bill or some other name sells for $850?!? I figure it's related to what my dad said when I suggested he buy one. "I aint shooting something with a maple leaf on the side" or at ...

I have a new one that was purchased for a 1712 a few years ago and it still did not make weight. I put the scope back in the box and sold the rifle. $600. I have new BKL mounts also.
Check your PMs.

And you can still find NIB ones for less than $700.
There are steals out there to be had. I paid less than $600 shipped for my NIB Canadian. I've noticed those are usually the lowest price commemorative models.

Re: WTB Leupold FX-3 25X 1/2MOA Dot 66850

Doodaddy, You have good vision. I think you would also be happy with a 25X with a 3/8 MOA Dot. It is not that much different. I do, but it's not about needing the bigger dot to see it; I just don't like the smaller dot as much. The Sightron dot I've used for years is halfway between a 3/8 & 1/2 dot...

Good luck. They are getting hard to find.
Yeah I used to see them all the time when I wasn't looking to buy one. Recently all I see are the 30X and 25X 3/8MOA models pretty often, but oh well. Patience is all it will take.

Re: Shooting Tunnel

That's a much more effective tunnel than my place if you're looking to test ammo in the most controlled environment. I've considered building a clone of that on casters out of the plastic culverts before actually.

Very nice Doodaddy!

And to think, every time I shoot it's windy. Every day on your range would be dry and calm!
*Reasonably* dry. You'll get some drips if the rain gets hard enough, but it's only hit us once at the Coop shoot I think lol.

Re: Group Size?

I need to take some photos of the tunnel and post them here so people can see what I am talking about. Probably prettier than my tunnel. http://www.teamhatchshootingfacility.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/squareeyed.gif http://www.teamhatchshootingfacility.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/DSCN0106-00...

Re: Need aftermarket Stock Sako P94s

Contact Frank Carrillo or Steve Wooster. The both make excellent stocks and do excellent work. Frank hasn't made stocks in quite some time. He sold his business to Ivan Rubio. I have no experience with Ivan, but searching his name for people who do isn't very encouraging. I don't think Wayne Merier...

Re: Dot size

Wow! I just eyeball my group and estimate the group size. You have it down to a science! I guess I might try altering my POI from my POA and see if it makes any difference. I guess it can’t hurt unless I break the windage adjustment in my scope. That probably won’t happen. I'm admittedly super part...
