Re: 2018 Arizona HP State Championship Photos

Thanks for posting the score sheets. Looks like the Mullins who said he would never go to another match won the event. The scores were a little low, must have been a tad windy.

Re: What 6mm/243 bullets are you using on Rams?

No one with less ability to hold should base any decision on cartridge/bullet on what Winstead uses. If you are happy to just break on the animal, you should probably be using a 7-08. If you can consistently break a tad high or on the butt, then you could think about using a lighter recoil cartridge...

Re: Goodbye Charlie Wheaton

Charlie Wheaton was a good man. I remember a Missouri regional match when I brought a KIOWA scope as a raffle prize. Charlie won the drawing and when He came up to collect the prize, he was so happy, I could see tears in his eyes. He stated that he had never won anything in his life. Charlie was a g...

Re: IMSSU 2018

It is in July and at that time of year, Finland is beautiful. Just a gorgeous country. The sun just dips below the horizon and is right back up. Never gets dark and the days are really nice. Between two rifles each, there are 80 rounds of HP and 160 rounds of smallbore. I was there when they hosted ...

Re: Those of you in Texas

You will need to strip about 6" above the drywall that got wet and allow it to dry. It may help to remove the insulation also. Treat the sill plate and studs with bleach to prevent mold growth. With the humidity there, it could become a real problem.

Re: Flinch!

Install one of these pads on your HP rifle. They are really good.

Re: Flinch!

If you are claiming a flinch in small bore, you are just jerking the trigger. The solution is dry fire, lots of it.

Re: Bullet seating depth

Hi Bob, How long does the setup take to switch from the .308 type to say, a 30-30? Does the case rest on transfer bearings?

Re: Bullet seating depth

Bob, You have one dial indicator on the tip, one just exiting the neck and a third one on the right. What does the one on the right measure? Thanks, Jim
