Re: Fine

Why is this topic in the Marketplace section? You'd have to ask the OP why he posted his rant here. The thread has gone off into the deep end of the off-topic pool on it's own... well, mostly because of Danny and Emmett. :D Hush Alan.... we be talking food.... Beef or pork ribs? Tangy sauce or vine...

Re: new to Lever Action - need rifle

I’ve seen a lot of mighty fine scores shot with the Henry Frontier with a 24” barrel and target sights. I do shoot a 39A but I would not rule out the Henry.

Re: Did Someone Mention a Match? In Tennessee?

I call myself looking but didn’t see exactly when this will happen. I’m interested but I need to know a firm date. Thanks.

Re: I have a dilemma.

As people discuss how to grow our sport, if we could get just one high profile person to shoot silhouette and it for sure would grow from that alone. If Quigley shot silhouette just once a year?

Re: I have a dilemma.

Awh man!!! Don’t dare tell me that Clint can’t shoot!!!!!!! That’s no different than saying that Quigley can’t shoot!!! This just ruins my day.

Re: 44 Magnum Pistol Caliber Loads

I have a Uberti with a 24” octagon barrel in .357. I am very happy with fit, balance and accuracy. The one thing that I was unhappy with was the factory trigger pull. It literally was 7 1/2 pounds. Yep. It was pricey, but it does look good. Be prepared to do a trigger job yourself or pay for it. I p...

Need some help.

I have a Uberti 1873. I want to mount a Pedersoli tang sight on it. The question I have is, is it necessary that the rifle’s tang screw be used in the rear hole of the sight? This would require getting another screw that would be longer with a small head to fit into the mount. Or, just move the sigh...

Re: Buying Old Lever Guns - Lessons Learned

To me, it isn’t as expensive as: a decent boat for fishing, a Yetti, fishing rods an associated gear, the gas spent running up and down the lake. Nor as expensive as hunting club, or clubs, dues, along with the 4-wheeler/side by side, the corn, paying for the processing of how ever many you shoot, d...
