Re: Bergara B-14R 22LR

... come on don't we know better that anything sub 1 MOA doesn't have to look like a Chris Kyle sniper rifle. Yeah, but a lot of people out there want it to look like a sniper rifle. It plays into their "I'm a baddass special-forces operator" fantasies. If that's what is selling that's what they're...

Training for what?
You know, the tactical, badass operator, 1000-yard kill shot to save the world, never going to run out of bullets during the zombie apocalypse, look at my big truck/gun/beard and not at my small... uh... Yeah, that's what.

Re: Texas Silhouette Calendar

CTSA and HOTSA are both done until February/March. Is that for all matches? I've got HOTSA listed for high-power, 22 BPCR, lever-action, and big-bore BCPR. Help me out with the CTSA because I don't see that listed and I don't know who/what that is. I also think, based on the talks at the Highpower ...

Re: Time for new target stands...thoughts please!

Howdy "AzGarand". Working backwards from your questions... Any regular target/backer can be used for initial sighting in. Air rifle/pistol doesn't take much to deflect so moderate sheet metal is fine (12-14 gauge, I'm guessing?). I don't know of anyone currently making resettable 1/10 scale targets ...

Re: Texas Silhouette Calendar

We will be adding SB 1/5 scale to Dallas pistol club (DPC) day after the first of the year. Glad to hear you guys are starting up a smallbore match up there. I try to keep the information for the monthly matches somewhat detailed for anyone that may be interested in showing up to your match. So, is...

Re: Leupold Silhouette scope survey

Ditto here. Leupold should post the question on forums directly like this one and others to get input. I mean where better to go a survey done about silhouette shooting preferences than oh I don't know a forum devoted to only Silhouette? Genius! Do you know how many people have had their registrati...

Re: Texas Silhouette Calendar

Match dates for the 2020 season are starting to trickle in and getting added to the calendar. If your club has matches on the calendar please give them a check to make sure everything is still up to date and valid. Specifically, I've added the Chicken Coop Shoot, The Shamrock Silhouette Shootout (Du...

Leupold Silhouette scope survey

This was posted on the "Metallic Silhouette Shooters Society" Facebook page and I figured it ought to be here as well. Posted by Vici Peters... Hello silhouette shooters? I have been working with our engineering team to get a new silhouette scope developed. Can you respond to this survey to make sur...
