I like the cookie cutters. I would be interested in a set. I like the trophy that you made with the cookie monster. :-bd That is some great ideas that you have put to use.

Re: Winchester butt stock

Boyd's Gun stocks also has butt stocks in stock. They have a plain walnut field design stock for a model 94 post 64 for $69.00 dollars or a laminated stock for $85.50. https://www.boydsgunstocks.com

Re: louisiana lever gun match

Kimbal: your welcome. Charlie's does have good steaks. You should see the pile of onion rings on a plate. Maybe next year we can go there on either Friday night or Saturday night. They were closed for a long while due to a fire. I think they just reopened. I live about 6 miles from there.

Re: Early Christmas present

xpilot: I looked at them. I am mainly looking for a leather cheek piece. I just posted a wtb ad for a Winchester butt stock. I will cut the crescent off and install a good rubber recoil pad. Thanks for posting the information. You never know when it might help someone else. Ken

Winchester butt stock

Does anybody have an extra Butt Stock for a Winchester Centennial 66 lying around collecting dust? I plan on cutting the crescent off and having a recoil pad installed. I am not worried how bad it looks or how scratched up it is. I can always refinish it or paint it. I don't want one that is cracked...

Re: Henry H001TLB 22 trigger job & sights

Shootmore: Take your Henry and run a couple or 3 bricks of ammo through it. The action and trigger will be getting smoother. And you didn't have to pay a gunsmith. Take the money that the gunsmith would have charged you, buy more ammo and go shoot some more.

Re: Early Christmas present

Sporty: Thanks for the parts numbers, but I plan on using a Williams rear sight and a Lyman 17A front sight in the lowest or next to low. Cedestech: Remove the lever trigger lock for trigger weight and hassle . Could you please be a little more specific on this. Please make it a little clearer to un...

Re: Henry H001TLB 22 trigger job & sights

Would a .019 be about the correct diameter for the fiber insert?

Re: Early Christmas present

I might get a slip on recoil pad if I can. I am already set up to reload, so no problems there.
I don't plan on shooting any full power favtory loads at all.

The main thing right now, is to get the correct front sight in the correct height and rear sight.

Early Christmas present

I gave myself an early Christmas today from Cabela's. I found a NIB unfired Winchester Centennial 66 in 30-30 caliber with a 26" octagon barrel. It came with the original box and the factory warranty card was in the box. The paper that the rifle was wrapped in was still in the box. It was priced $69...
