Re: Anschutz 18XX for sale, PDC aluminum pos stock....

I have an Anschutz position rifle in a PDC aluminum stock (with an extra wood stock and a fiberglass silhouette stock). The gun has a Hart Stainless barrel cut to 18 1/2 inches, with a homemade boob tube. The barrel was installed by the late Karl Kenyon, gunsmith. 1508 trigger recently serviced by ...

Re: Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x

I have two Leupolds, one a 6X18, the other a fixed 12, and a steel Weaver fixed 16. I also have two Honorable Discharges on my wall, one from the US Army, Vietnam, and the other from the Washington Army National Guard.... and I shall buy what I want, thank you.

Re: Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x

Unless something's changed, Vortex also has a lifetime guarantee. I have one on my gallery rifle, 4X12 I think. I dropped it at the range one day and the scope went south. I sent it in for repair, and within days I had a brand new replacement in my hands. Be advised that the scopes are very fragile ...

Re: Which Annie trigger?

Well, I got my trigger back from Neal Stepp, and now it's a 5022..... I like the feel of it..... I think it may help some. If it shoots well in the winter gallery (which I shoot all standing), I'll put a Wooster stock on it next year for standard rifle....

There is no such spring on the 5018 triggers. It is all contained in the trigger housing.
Thank you.... is my trigger the 5018? What gunsmithing knowledge I possess can be shoved into my eye without discomfort!

Re: Which Annie trigger?

and my trigger's been removed, I believe there is a small spring that goes between the action and that trigger. I assume Neil prepped you on how to remove and reinstall it. I just wanted to bring it up because the first time I removed mine I didn't notice the spring except that it was laying on the...

Re: Which Annie trigger?

I did have a nice chat with Neal.... and my trigger's been removed, boxed, insured, and sent to him.... Which is a smart move on my part; I am the poster boy of the ADHD set, and a ruined trigger would be the net result of any effort on my part to swap out those springs! :D

Thanks everyone....

Re: Which Annie trigger?

Neal Stepp in Arlington/Ft Worth. Company name is "I.S.S." and he will have the needed springs (pl) or be able to do the work for you. The phone number I have for him is, I think, out of date but this is all I have: (817) 595-2090 The number quoted works, and I've made arrangements to send the trig...

Re: Which Annie trigger?

Hey Mel. I think I saw Eric Boos or Steve Wooster swapping out springs on one of those triggers at Pe Ell one day. I just had the springs swapped on the same model trigger by Evelio McDonald down in Texas while he was putting a new barrel on an action for me, too. It's not that difficult of a job. ...
