I’m looking for a 5109 2 stage trigger for an older 1710 Anschutz. If you have one please email me at alf2520@verizon.net

I shoot .22 magnum in smallbore. I have learned in silhouette that you should always bring more gun than you need.

Re: Reloading

AR 500 Steel would laugh at anything other than armor piercing ammo. Even AR 350 will take it. Your club is most likely using plain hot rolled steel. I would protest the metal used as not conforming to NRA rules. I've had this issue with clubs before and after much discussion it always turns out th...

Re: Marlin 39A

Shootmore,

In my opinion the 39’s made fro 1945 to 1955 are the best years made. The 1953 would be a great gun for SB Lever Gun. I have two 1946’s and really like them.

Sierra Reloading App

Ok y’all have been waiting for this. Sierra has launched an online reloading app. It’s pretty cool, and has all the latest products. There is an annual subscription fee of $4.99; but that’s a small price to pay and you will get all the updates as they come out. Check it out.

Re: Another reloading question.

Many of the powder companies have reloading data online. Hodgons has a good one.

Re: New Sierra 6.5 MK

I use the Ballistics App and it has a built in stability calculator that uses the Miller formula.

Using my load data my 1-7 twist has a stability of 1.85
Substituting a 1-8 comes out to 1.41.

So Jason, Does this help.

Al, you can sell all your guns, move to a distant land, and we will still seek you out............ :))
I’m not hiding from anyone; it’s just that I keep telling myself not to get sucked into these controversial posts. I will be in a distant land May 3-4-5th.
Austin, Texas. See ya there?

Re: Silhouette Rifle Rules Changes - 2018

I’m going to go way out on a limb here and state that the no lens in the rear sight is an oversight. The rules before clearly stated that a lens was allowed in the rear sight but not the front. If this is not an oversight, it is a horrible injustice. Most of our shooters are seniors and a lot of the...
