Re: What power scope are you using?

Jason, It is trying to find out what year a rule change was made. Has nothing to do with any complaining about the way they run things. I even gave them a close guess on my part as to what year it was made.

Re: What power scope are you using?

If the NRA sil div would get modern, we would have the data from the nationals on the equipment survey along with all the other data they have. Hell, I can't even get them to answer my e-mail to them. It has been way over a year and I re-ask every several months. I thought getting rid of the old dri...

If you are on a tight budget you may want to look at one of these scopes. Athlon Optics, Argos BTR, Riflescope, 6-24x50

Re: Will the new T/C R22.......

I just looked at it on line and I can't see a problem with it as long as it makes weight. With the plastic stock weight should not be a problem.

According to my supplier, AR-400, AR-500, and T-1 are within a few pennies of each other.

Re: Traps for silhouette targets?

Nice one Dustin. I assume the targets are cut out of some steel plate so you can weld the hangers on. Someone with a hobby plasm cutter cut the animals?

Re: How To Make "Almost" Free Targets

You found a cheep one. Hang on to it. The shops hedre charge an arm and a leg to cut into a full piece. Theu will cut their drops but you have to buy the entire drop, not just the animal.

That is "not cut" AR 500. A sq foor of 1/2 inch steel weighs about 21 pounds. Getting it plasma cut is NOT cheep.

Tony, I am doing both and it seems to help. I found some targets with a 0.25 inch white dot in a black circle and I am keeping track of the white dot hits I ger. I can see some progress. It is however slow progress.

I just bought some AR 500 at $1.85 per pound. Paper targets are looking better all the time.
