Re: new build - which 6mm for low recoil but effective

Could it be you have became a better shot? Might be the comp you are having with Francisco? Na couldn't be it.

There is no recoil difference between a 115 from a 6mm and a 115 from a 6.5mm

Re: Anschutz style 10/22 stock

Both Bell and Carlson and Mc Millan do not offer left-handed Anschutz style stocks

I didn't even know they offered plywood stacks.

Re: Group Size?

You are lucky to have such a facility. I think anything under 3/4 minute would be just fine. Remember, the difference of 1/4 minute in group size makes your theoretical miss only 1/8 minute. That would be 0.7 inches at 500 M. If you can guess your outdoor shooting conditions that well you are a mast...

Re: new build - which 6mm for low recoil but effective

Why would you shoot a maxed out 6mm with a 115gr bullet when you could shoot a 6.5mm 115 gr bullet with the option of going with a heaver load?

Both of the 115s would take the same powder charge. What do you gain?

Re: NRA Financial Problems, last ever Silhouette Nationals?

Just how far can we trust the media when they all want the NRA done away with? Do we really know what is going on? I don't think so.

Dave first off. Its being pushed by NY. Do you believe anything out of NY? Second do you know what a self fulfilling prophecy is? Just ignore the doom and gloom of leftism its designed to make logical people crazy.

I think that is where Dave is from. ^#(^

Re: spotter plate

If you get fast dry paint, 2 hour max. Slow dry paint 2 days. 1. Paint plate white on both sides. 2. Make cut-out of 4 animals and rubber cement to white plate (2 animals per side) 3. Paint darker color then remove paper animal cut-outs to reveal white animals. You can make 4 in the same amount of t...

Re: spotter plate

All you need is a 22ga steel plate and a couple differnt colors of paint. A push pin with the metal pin pulled out and glue a small magnet to it.
