Re: starting animal

Some shooters are so picky about where they start that they will leave a big match if they don't get their wish... Happened recently.

Re: Friction Tape on stock surfaces

Jerry,

Your best bet is to paint the surfaces you want with rubberized textured paint. A spray can, some newspaper, masking tape and a sheet of 320 grit sandpaper to prep the surfaces is all you need.

Re: Never see a Sako

I've been shooting a Sako Finnfire in Hunter class since 2003, first using a Lilja "Sundberg taper" barrel, then adding a CG Universal 2-stage trigger and finally a Robertson/Pharr stock. I also use a Weaver T24 scope. The rifle loves most brands of good ammo. Damn thing shoots better than I can. (K...

Looking for Pharr Right hand RT-S Stock

I am looking for a Robertson/Pharr right handed RT-S stock for a Remington Short Action (M-700/40X) rifle.
Please contact me if any one has one available at a reasonable price. I'm not exactly to dying for one, but I will pay a fair price.

Thank you,

Joaquin

Re: A Bobcat goes to Mexico

Mark,

I heard about your experience.... The guy you went with is radioactive. No one goes near him and I heard he is known in some circles as "The Mechanical Bull" - If you can stand him for 8 seconds...

I know some reputable people, not cheap, but with lots of good references.

Re: trigger guard for support

Most right-handed shooters place the thumb of the left hand under use the trigger guard to help support the rifle. Perfectly legal.
