I understand completely. I'll check with the folks down South and around Wyoming when I get back from Kansas next week.

Re: Sooner Classic Regional - Oklahoma

Jeanne, Since we sent in our entry forms and the checks are being held it is difficult to know how close you are to the "magic" number. Would it be possible to post the names of those who have entered? There may be shooters in Colorado/Wyoming who are interested if there are openings. thanks, Dick H...

Re: Different sights - legal or not? Pictures!

Here's my 2 cents worth about sights: This is what the NRA rule book says: Rear sights may be open, receiver, or tang sights, mounted as originally intended. No international or Olympic type sights, or extended mounts are permitted. The front sight must be a post or bead or if changeable inserts, ma...

I know this a very late reply but there is a National Organization that heads up the 22 BPCR activity. Their web site is:

www.22bpcra.org

They have had two national championships and are popping up all over from Texas, new Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wyoming and the
west cost. Check it out!!!!!

metal silhouette cut outs for awards

I am looking for a source for metal silhouette cut outs to be used for awards at silhouette matches. I won a ram silhouette about 8 inches long and 5 inches high several years ago but cannot find anyone who knows where the award can from. Please post reply here as my PM isn't working very well these...

Re: Change in venue for 2015 CLA Nationals

No way will I drive through any states west of the Mississippi to get to PA. Three day drive each way. hotels, meals, never. Shoot on an "easy range with lots of records" Don't care, more of a challenge at Raton, wind, rain, etc. Also, It is not just CLA. There is 22 BPCRA Nationals and Iron and sco...

Re: 2014 CLA Nationals

Last I heard Scope BPCR is June 24-25, Iron BPCR is June 27-28. The National 22 BPCR is tentatively scheduled for the end of July but they are looking at these dates. Glenda Graves may have a 22 CLA match on June 22 before the BPCR matches start. This is all hear say but the dates for cowboy are exa...

Re: Which Federal Ammo?

A lot of us shoot Federal 510, used to be called Lightning" and may still be around with that label. The old red and black box is next to match as far as I can see. I shoot the auto match in my pistol, no luck in my 39A. Federal tells me that it is the first run of ammo after they make the match gra...

Re: 25-20 LOAD

Dan, Over the last ten years of shooting my 84 CL I have tried at least 50 different loads. Best load for silhouette I found is 7 grains of IRM 4227 with an 85 grain Meister bullet. I used H4227 until they stopped making it and to be honest I like the IMR better than the old H. I never got any jacke...

Re: Marlin 1894m 22 magnum

Sorry for the late post but Cheyenne Frontier Days and the pending Wyoming State 22 BPCR Championship I run have taken all my time. Glad the rifle shoots as well as it did for me. Got sellers remorse and bought one to replace it. Haven't shot it yet. New sights on the old 22 mag but still haven't ha...
