Elbow in Hip
I saw an old military man shoot with his elbow on his hip and he was a good shot.
I lost some weight and can get my elbow on the bone so I just lean my torso for elevation.
I have to hold the rifle on my thumb and forefinger in a V to get enough elevation.
I also hold my elbow on my chest with the magazine area in my cupped hand left elbow under rifle.
I will try to post a picture

Re: Elbow in Hip
Yeah, I'd need a chainsaw to get my elbow on my hip....
I buy all my guns from t-rex. He's a small arms dealer.

Re: Elbow in Hip
Oldranger, friction is our friend. I crank my support arm triceps across my bulbous belly. The belly to triceps friction holds quite well and I can lean back but keep my back a little more straight than the little fellers.
