Hardscrabble Mountain Custom vests now has a web site!

Post by GeoNLR »

Chris Winstead now has a web site for all thoese that have asked in the past. It's still under construction, but there is some neat history on the company and Cathy!

http://www.hardscrabblemountain.com/index.htm

Also- I wanted to plug his new "Mesh" vest that is in the works!

Enjoy!

That's a nice site and a nice shot of Cathy in the "Products" section. I wonder how much they paid that fat, old man in the background to serve as the "Before" example.

Which model?

Post by Jetmugg »

I'm tempted to get an order placed, but don't know which model to choose. The mesh looks nice for warmer weather (it's bound to warm up soon), and the price is nice, but I don't want to buy a cheap one only to buy a more expensive one later.

Call Chris directly and get his input. He's one of the good guys and always helpful.

I'm absolutely positive Chris will sell you both. Only makes sense to have a vest for winter and summer.

Winter?
I've heard that there are places where it gets cold enough (for a few days anyway) that people actually wear jackets or sweaters to the range.
Is that winter?

Yes Ernie there are places like that

Yesterday I went down to my local range and had to shovel 3 feet of snow to set up the chickens

Lucky me it warmed up 50 degrees so I got to shoot at a balmy 20

Good gravy - my vest arrived today! Way to go Chris!

That was fast, eh? Now if I can get my name embroidered - think "Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorffwissenhaftschafer" will fit?
