CZ mag release
Shortly after i got my first (and there will be more) CZ 455 I was told that the magazine release would break. "Its just a piece of plastic so plan on replacing it." Has anyone had issues with the magazine release lever breaking? The aluminum replacement doesn't cost much but what's the consensus?

Re: CZ mag release
No problem with the mag release lever on my 452 but I think it's metal.
Did a quick search on RFC and no threads concerning broken mag release levers show up on the first three pages of search results.
Honestly, I've never heard of the mag release being a problem. I'm guessing you heard that from someone that dislikes polymer parts on firearms, perhaps?

I don't know how you'd go about breaking a mag release, but if you feel like replacing it you might as well fit a metal mag well at the same time.

Thanks. I'm digging shooting silhouette and the website. More money for mags and ammo!
