I think it has a certain Cajun Flair.
Kinda like bacon wrapped bourbon figs, or something like that.
Is he using 1 1/2 or 3F in his loads?

Pretty don't win matches. That explains my lack of trophies too I guess!
I buy all my guns from t-rex. He's a small arms dealer.

Jerry's has a certain je ne sais merde quality but, I think mine is uglier. Y'all be the judge.

I built it from scrap and spare parts.

Pat: That is one ugly rifle. I would not even admit to owning that one.

I think Pat's rifle is uglier then Jerry's rifle by a lot.

Anyone can purposefully make an ugly rifle for a joke or with scrap metal or a 2x4 for a stock. Jerry's rifle is not a joke. That's a real rifle that Jerry might really use at a real match. The components, including the stock, are made by real manufacturers and destroyed by Jerry in the regular course of being Jerry.

Not even close.

Dustin: I wouldn't say Jerry destroyed his rifle. He just customized it to fit his very unique shooting style. That is Jerry being Jerry.

Actually this gun shoots really well. I wanted to try out a barrel mount setup. Its a PacNor barrel that got bent then was cut down and sleeved. 581 actions work well, but the bolt was broken so i had to get an ebay cast off. I thought about grinding things out and making it pretty after i finished it but why? It wont shoot any better. I learned a lot building this. It was really fun. It was a proof of concept exercise. Someone actually offered me real money for it. But it is really ugly. Hence the name. The WUG. I slso made a bipod and rear monopod for it. I know Dustin has seen it. I got a tig for Christmas. More to come........ =))

yep. I had to chop a few inches off the front. I have to take the cheekrest off as it's above the bore, but you can get a cleaning rod thru thru the bore without touching the cheekrest.........because it's a piece of tubing!

Thanks Tony for posting that! It actually shoots great and is mostly ambidextrous. I almost died the first time I saw that thing.
