G'day All =- If you had someone make the perfect Rifle Silhouette scope - what would the sec's be - eg 10 to 40 x ??? - EFR - tube size - what sight picture - eg Leupold Dot or Fine Cross Hair with larger dot - a FCH with Thicker small section of Cross hairs ? - could be Luminated ? - EFR ? - Turrets set up in 1/8" or ? - front AO adjustment or side - if a side wheel as an extra fit -on and off it would also be great for Air Rifle Field target from what I can see.

I ask because I want to purchase a new Scope for a new Air Rifle or what ever ? and can not buy the perfect scope that I would like to. All manufactures are not making anything like the Boosted Premier's 18-40 - with large dot FCH large Sil Dot or Leupold Dot with large dot - on the base 6.5 - 20 x 40 EFR.
sadly if your unlucky enough to have issues - No one will service them or do not have the skills to which seems the case, if they did they would - which seem a pain to those that have them.

I treat all mine with kit gloves and scope coats and a prayer .

So have a think - what is perfect for -Air - Rim and Centerfire - if someone was to make it specially with great optic's and quality and if so would you pay good money for the quality set up - Regards and Merry Christmas 2018 and a great 2019. regards Phill

Front AO that tracks perfectly with the indications.
EFR - focuses from 30 feet to infinity.
1/4 MOA adjustments with firm clicks (not mushy) and target turrets
Absolutely repeatable adjustments.
80 MOA total range for both elevation and windage.
Options for crosshair thickness and center dot size.
Reticle is true second focal plane, unlike the boosted Leupolds.
15X to 35X variable magnification.
Generous eye-box.
Top grade glass.
Weighs 14 oz. or less.
Takes the shock of spring air rifles without issue.
And cost around $500 (US).

6.5 x 20 with Dick Thomas bump to 20x40 with 1/2 min dot

Leupold 6.x20x40 with a (.066 dot is the right one I think) for smallbore Leupold 25x with 3/8 dot for Highpower

FFP - first focal plane
SFP - Second focal plane

FFP makes the retical larger or smaller as you zoom in or out. You'll find these mostly on tactical-style optics.
SFP keeps the retical the same size (to your eye) no matter how you zoom in or out.

Give me a Leupold 25X with 1/2 minute dot Leupold dot (0.060) with their tapered crosshairs. Make it EFR and make it track and stand up like they should, and I would be a happy guy.

For me....30X with 1/2 min dot, 1/4 clicks, out to 109 meters. Discontinued Leopold model as with the 25X.

As an old guy with a jerky hold, my Leupold 6X18X40 with a 3/8 dot seems perfect.... I dial it in at 12X most of the time.

I really like my Leupold FX 25x40 with the 1/2 minute dot.

I’d love to see a 30mm tube/50mm objective Leupold EFR with a magnification range of 8-32, with side focus or front AO that has easy to see markers for 40, 60, 77 & 100m that are true to distance. (I know, impossible but this is my dream scope).
Very forgiving eye relief, plus 1/2” Leupold dot @ SFP. Weight 17oz-18oz.

I have a Leupold FX3 30X with 1/2” dot currently, and I love it, but I always have to start the season with a 6-24 Sightron and move to the 30X when my hold & stamina improve.
