Does anyone know if the metal plates I see on the back of some clipboards, with the animals for spotting hits are still available someplace? If so, please let me know where I can get one?
Thanks ^:)^

Never seen or heard of this type of thing. I only shoot club matches but this is the first reference I've seen on the "net". Anyone have a picture of what these look like?

I got this from Lynette McCombs. It came with marker magnets.

Over the years I've see a lot of spotter sheets of different types. I don't have Steve's address or contact info anymore.
But a while back I made spotter sheets up that I could use in a score book I made up - these are in Excel. Not sure - unable to see how to up load the document.
Spotter Sheets Silhouette copy.xlsx
whoops - found it. I hope this helps.

Cathy Winstead-Severin was selling them last year at Iron Man. She has a website called https://goodshootinginc.com/ so if they aren't there, maybe contact someone there and see if they have any.

I should ask her this weekend when I see her if she sells something like that. I can see how that would help.

All you need is a 22ga steel plate and a couple differnt colors of paint. A push pin with the metal pin pulled out and glue a small magnet to it.

That sounds like a lot of work.

If you get fast dry paint, 2 hour max. Slow dry paint 2 days.

1. Paint plate white on both sides.
2. Make cut-out of 4 animals and rubber cement to white plate (2 animals per side)
3. Paint darker color then remove paper animal cut-outs to reveal white animals.

You can make 4 in the same amount of time and then all your buddies have their own board.

Wow! You have put a lot of thought into this! I would have to hit the automotive paint store for some black paint. I think I have, some white left over from paining my Wife's Triumph motorcycle a few years ago. Actually I may need to pick up some white and I need to check on my clear coat too.

You advocate a white animal, hmmmm. I wonder how a spotter plate would look painted in the same color as my silhouette vest?
Thanks Jerry.
