Weatherby Mark XXII

Post by Kujones »

Has anyone seen / handled / shot the bolt action Weatherby Mark XXII? the comb looks a little low but otherwise it looks good to a Weatherby kind of guy.

Not sure about a bolt action.
The one I have is a semi-auto tube feed version.
the only other one that I know is the same, but magazine clip feed.

I believe it is a Anschutz 64 rebadged for Weatherby....

I have seen both a rebadged Anschutz 64 action and a Semi-Auto Weatherby .22 rifle.

I have one and it shoots very well. Shot a few matches in the past with it. The comb is a bit low and it is very light. I believe there were a few shot at the Nationals this year. It is a 64 Anschutz wearing a nice high gloss Wetherby stock.
