I have used J&P Springs. Did a good job with everything correct... A little pricey IMO but then I may be unrealistic in my expectations.

McMaster-carr will have them. Get a nut that can fit, put the but below where you will cut the screw, cut it then back the nut out to fix the threads if the saw damaged the new start of the threads.

The size of the screws is 5mm M5 any Ace Hardware store have them any length you want for pennies each.
