He probably let the hosting go. Last I knew he had quit silhouette from a cheating controversy at a state match regarding him wearing an archery glove.

Thank you Doodaddy for the reply. I thought that might be the reason.
I had read his side of the story, but others said this was not the first time he had been called on
on his shooting in matches

I read his side of the story too and understand that he believes he was in a grey area in regards to the rule (and he very well may be), but there is no reason to be wearing an archery glove for silhouette outside of the purpose of the glove rule in the first place. So he may have been clear in regards to the technicality of the rule, but definitely not the spirit of the rule so I do agree with the ruling.

If that caused him to quit shooting, ok I guess. There are a lot of rules I don't agree with, but I still stay inside of them.

Thanks again Doodaddy. I agree if you show up to shoot you should know the rules. Also I think he had won several matches
and the State Match so this was not a noob mistake. I wish the site was up because there was some good info and a great ballistic chart for .22 LR that I wanted to post on Rimfire Central in the Smallbore Silhouette Section

For whatever it's worth, RimfireAccuracy is discussing wind charts now.

Also Lapua does have a ballistics app that allows for some wind calculation.

Might be able to find a cached version of the site somewhere online if you dig around and get some content off of it still.

Hows the saying go, no one cares or complains about any grey area shooting rules unless you win =)) If you are last place or close to it no one cares.

I found this cache of the site, you might have to play around going back on the time for the links to work but I see most of them.

Really good info on his site. Seems a real shame that it is no longer readily available. After reading how it happened and what the NRA said - it really seems a shame.

I printed a lot of great info off of the link. Thanks for the info Dee....
