Dry Fire Device

Over the years, dry firing became and still is an important practice aid. Placing spent cartridges in the chamber and banging on them is ultimately an inefficient device. Along the way I saw a recommendation for the "yellow wall anchors". I purchased a bag at the local hardware and they definitely accomplish the task, especially because they rebound your pin without damage and extract as well as any case will without ever being stuck and at 7 cents apiece, the price is right.

I've gone one step further and remove the worn out rim on the dry wall anchors. Then fit the remaining plastic into a fired case from my rifle. My Annie will feed the modified cases thru the mag so timing is as shooting. I know some still single load but for those that use the mag I think the reloading from the mag is better. Stay healthy-- shoot outdoors-- air is good!!
