Hi y'all,

I'm looking at purchasing a new 1712 soon, and I was wondering what other's experience was for running CCI SV in their 1712? I've heard various reports, ranging from "It works fine." to "It won't chamber, the headspace / driving band is the wrong size." Just curious if anyone else had any thoughts on the matter? Reason I'm asking is because I already have a case of the stuff. Shoots great in my CZ455 and my Henry. Thanks!

My 1712 shoots CCI standard very well. It chambers tight but doesn't affect the accuracy.

My experience with cci sv in my 1712 has been the same as pagunnner’s. Functions fine. Just chambers a little tighter than sk.

OK thanks for the info y'all! That makes sense to me - I mean, how could a factory chamber be so tight, or factory ammo be so much larger, that they would have trouble functioning together... I hope to investigate for myself soon!
