Looking for some loads and bullet weights that folks are using for PC Silhouette with a Marlin .357 20" barrel. Got some factory loads (Mag Tech 158 Gr) and had great results, but it appears they are a little to hot for the chickens and pigs :(

Bring those hot loads down under we'll let you shoot them off.

 Thanks Juddy.... I'd love too seeing they are shooting so well in this rifle. Guess they were just marking the targets a little to much. If the travel $$ free's up again I'll surely be back in ANZ on business and will be looking for a weekend shoot.

Bob,
I still testing and have ordered some Magtech 38 specials to try on the chickens & pigs for the PC game. I do have some Kinematics 357's that performed good at the shorter distances and go out at 1040fps compared to the Magtech's at 1650fps. The Magtechs are very consistant.
The Magtechs as you observed last Saturday shoot really good the CLA game up to the turkeys and great (as you shot Tuesday night) for the turkeys and rams in the PC game.
I'm hoping to get the ammo for the chickens & pigs in the PC game settled by next week.
I am using Fiocchi 125gr at 1850fps for the rams in the CLA game. It will take them down but it's not the ultimate factory load yet.

If we are brave enough to make that grumpy old white headed bloke (the Toad) use one I reckon no one is safe. lol The best part is the Bear just got himself one once he started using the 25/20, why avoid the inevitable!

Looks like I'm going to need to pick up some of that ammo. Thanks for passing along that info. It'll save me a lot of time and money!
