Congratulations to Brian Chilson, winner of the BPCR match at Ridgway PA
with a score of 30. Dave Heeter also shot a 30, but Brian edged out Dave
by a single chicken in the shoot-off. Craig Duncan was 3rd Open with a
score of 25. In scope, Roger Tremba won 1st Scope with a 29, followed by
Brian Chilson with a 28 and Greg Lauver with a 25. Good shooting, guys!
Complete results are below.

Weather conditions were challenging. The day started wet but relatively
warm with temps around 50, but it actually got colder as the day
progressed. The occasional (and unpredicted) rain made some of the
targets very difficult to see. We were grateful for the wood stove in the club
house! As often happens at Ridgway, wind was a factor as well, with
varying degrees of head wind for much of the day.

We had a total of 19 shooters and 21 rifles, which is an excellent turnout
for October. We were happy to welcome two new shooters, along with a
couple more observers who intend to start shooting BPCR next year.

Some folks have expressed an interest in receiving the match results in an
Excel format. We can certainly do that. Just email me and I'll send them to you. Constant Contact will not allow us to attach files to the newsletter.

Being the last match of the season, October is always bittersweet. We'll
miss all the folks we won't see again until April. We're already looking forward to the 2016 season. Until then, stay warm this winter and we'll see you at Ridgway in April!

Sincerely,

Craig Duncan
