BPCR rifle for small adults/children

Post by glen ring »

I would like Jeanne and my Grand Son to shoot BPCR with me. If the 38-55 is too much for them I will consider a 32-40. Who shoots a 32-40 in BPCR?

No it is not too much. Not at all. Be sure the gun fits them decently and be even more sure they are properly positioned behind it when they pull the trigger. I've seen 10 yr olds operate a .50-90 very well and w/o any problems. But get them squared up. The biggest issue in managing any caliber is fit.

My daughter shoots a 40-65 in a C-Sharps 85 Winchester (but shortened to fit), not a problem for her as well.
