Let me be the first...

Post by Baja_Traveler »

...To post a pic of my BPCR rifle. It is a Pedersoli Creedmor 45-70 with a french grey receiver and MVA mid range Soule sights.

I cast the 525 grain Paul Jones Bullet for it in 30:1 and pan lube unsized using my home made lube (1 pound beeswax, 1 pound lanolin and 1/2 pound canola oil by weight). I drop tube 65 grains of Swiss 1 1/2 through a 32 inch aluminum arrow shaft and compress with a .030 fiber wad using a Lyman M die.

For those not familiar with just how big these bullets are, here is a pic of a 535 grain postel from a Lyman mold - 44 magnum on the right and 45 acp on the left:

So post up what you got! I'd like to see it.

Here you go. Have a look and a laugh at me in my shed, and some other stuff if you want. Heaps of Black Powder stuff.
Even some dead critters from the game ranch.

I've seen that trick used to remove Berdan primers. Looks like it works well for you!
