Has anyone figured out how much kinetic energy or momentum is required to knock down the rams?

Al Foust calculated approximately 1.3 "ramentum" to reliably take them down. Lots of discussion of it here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7018&p=57121&hilit=Ramentum#p57121DavidABQ wrote:Has anyone figured out how much kinetic energy or momentum is required to knock down the rams?
However... I discovered Bullet construction to also be critical.... Especially for 30-30 jacketed projectiles. A couple manufacturers' 170gr offerings running 2000fps+ rang rams "like a church bell" even when hit in the leg, neck, or horn. Same Rams on the same day dropped easily with 170gr Sierras even with center body hits at same load data. Interestingly, 173gr gas checked soft lead at 17-1800fps dropped them all reliably that same day, albeit a bit slower, as well.
