Present

The Roger Parks Memorial HighPower Rifle and Smallbore Rifle
Silhouette Match

Dates: Sept 4 and 5, 2016

Range: FT Bliss Rod and Gun Club, FT Bliss TX

Eligibility: It is not a requirement that you be a member of the NRA or TSRA to compete in this event., but if you do not have a current NRA book, Shooters will be placed in
Master Class the first day of shooting.

Rules: Current NRA rules will apply.

Ties: Ties will be broken by reverse animal count for daily awards,
a one shot shoot off for the aggregates, and a five shot shoot off for the championship.

Course of fire: Match #1 – Standard Highpower 40 rounds - Saturday morning
- Standard Smallbore 40 rounds – Saturday afternoon
Match #2 – Standard Highpower 40 rounds - Sunday morning
Standard Smallbore 40 rounds – Sunday afternoon
Match #3 - Aggregate of Matches 1 & 2

Times: 09:30 on Saturday and Sunday. Practice will be from 07:30 – 09:00 on match days. Range will be available for practice all day on Friday.

Entry: Advance entry is required. Advance entries will be accepted until Aug 12, 2016
Competitors wishing to share rifles and requests for shooter-coach
pairs must combine their advance entries to assure proper squadding.

If you are unsure about attending the Match, please go ahead & send in
your entry form anyway, or call the match director, so that you can be
squadded. Fees can be paid when you arrive for the match. This will save
last minute paperwork and squadding difficulties.
Post entries will be taken to fill vacancies in established relays & no
requests for shooter-coach pairs will be honored.

Entry Limits: We will try to keep it to 4 relays as there are only 4 banks for Highpower and
Smallbore, if we need to a 5th relay, we will open one.


Food will be served after the Match on Saturday only at the club Pavilion.. Bullseye Grill in the club will be serving food both Saturday and Sunday. Since this is a Military installation, There will absolutely be no drinking of Alcohol during the match on both days.




Coaching: A Shooter may have one person with them on the line to spot shots, coach and keep time. The coach may not touch the shooter or their equipment
during the firing period. This person must stay behind the line of shooters.

Classification: NRA Rifle Silhouette Classification will be used. Classification books
must be presented when registering. Competitors without classification books will be required to purchase a book and will fire Match #1 in Master Class
with the resulting score establishing their classification for succeeding matches.

Jury: A jury of three persons will be selected and they will act as the final authority on protests or disputes concerning procedures, equipment or other controversies.

Equipment: Rifles must meet NRA specifications. All rifles will be weighed and certified before each match. Uncertified rifles will not be allowed on the firing line. If any parts have to be taken off of a rifle to make weight, these parts will be held at the stat office until completion of the match, it will be the responsibility of the competitor to claim these parts after the match.

Awards: Awards will be given to Match Winner and the classes: Master, AAA, AA, A , and B and Jr in Matches 1 & 2, Awards for Aggregate will be given Sunday
Afternoon.


Safety: All safety rules will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with safety rules will be the basis for disqualification. Open-Bolt Indicators are
required in all rifles when not in use.

Food/lunch: Food will be available for purchase. Inside the Club, Again Food will be served
