Strictly Addon sights

Post by jmdavis45 »

I am looking for 1 or 2 Strictly Addon rear sights. I would be willing to buy a complete barrel if available in 22 Rimfire, and would also buy the front sights for taco hold.

If you have one that you are not using, please let me know.

Someone has to have one that they won't ever use again.

I guess if I had one I'd know what it is, but when I Google it I just come up with this thread.

contender sights made and modified by Strickland and Adcock for Hunter Pistol and Field Pistol in the early 2000's. I have one setup for 22 Hornet that came out of CO. I am looking for one more for my 22. The rear is a TC rear sight modified and commercially sold with a peep instead of a standard blade.

They also made a taco hold hood with an adjustable front sight. I have two of these. But if I needed to buy a barrel to get the rear sight I likely would.

good luck in finding a adcock taco hold front sight setup. it took me a long time last year when i was looking for some. marten's sight company has a taco hold front sight setup that is just as good. the tube is smaller and you can hold it better. the front sight is the same. you will have to call him for information. his web site is all air gun stuff.

I picked up a box of stuff at an auction and I think there are a couple of Contender sights in it---I'll take some pictures and hopefully I can figure out how to post the picture. I'm not sure what you are asking for either so these may not be what you want. I'll try to get the pictures this eve and post them tomorrow.

I have not taken a picture of the rear sight that I am looking for. But imagine a standard contender rear sight, but instead of a notch type blade, it will take an aperature. The elevation adjustments on top will be marked (engraved) with marking like a clock face. The windage will look just like the standard rear sight.

jmdavis, the sights I have appear to be standard Contender sights, they do not accept an aperture. I have no use for them, so if you do, or know anyone who does, let me know.
