WTB - Scope Caps (Covers)
I'm looking for the Black rubber scope caps (covers) that Premier Reticle sold for Leupold 6.5x20s. Doesn't have to be Premiers cap, any manufacturer or color will do. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Butch

Sinclair 'used' to carry them Butch, but I see they stopped carrying them as I was looking aiso. A lot of the nice stuff they had went away when Brownell's bought them out.

Re: WTB - Scope Caps (Covers)
I found my receipt from May 11, 2004 for 4 sets of scope caps for a grand total of $20.00.
A lot of people were cutting some of the material off these scope caps so that they would be easier to pull off the scope. We do not have difficulty removing them because we do not push them on until they bottom out.
We are still using these scope caps from 2004.
I am guessing that Premier may have been buying their scope caps from this company and putting the Premier logo on them.
We somehow bought them from this company through benchrest central.
Here is the info:

I called this number this morning. They did not answer the phone. I left them a message.

Re: WTB - Scope Caps (Covers)
I seem to remember that those have been discontinued because of a lawsuit. If it is similar the to covers that came with the older BurrisvFullfield scopes. Two caps connected by what is essentially a rubber band.
I guess the cap came off and smacked someone in the eye.
That is what I remember reading over at Rimfire Central. I hope you find some.

Those are exactly what I'm looking for. Btw, I have both of those brands now. I have more scopes now and not enough covers for them. Lol
Thanks, Butch

Re: WTB - Scope Caps (Covers)
I have searched for these for sometime with no luck, too. I did find a similar cap from this place ,CAPLUGS, and ordered a single sample of each size. A Leupold 6.5 x 20 measures 2.020 on the big end, 1.550 on the small end. These state they are flexible and might fit. They are one inch long and may need trimming if they fit at all. I have one each HVC-2000-16 and HVC-1500-16 on the way. Unfortunately, if they do fit minimum ordered quantities looks like 250 pcs. for the 2.00, 500 pcs. for the 1.50. I will let you know how they fit.

Re: WTB - Scope Caps (Covers)
The caps I bought in 2004 fit the Leupold EFR 6.5-20 perfectly.
They are too loose on the Leupold FX series and too tight on the Weaver T series.

One set of samples arrived minutes ago. These fit very well, easy on and off. I added this style to give them a try. Still waiting on the black ones that closely resemble the original Premier caps.

I trimmed the skirt off for a better overall look. Fit is just about perfect.
