SOLD: Sightron Big Sky SII62442SIL & Leupold FX3 30x
Long story as short as I can make it...
I only shoot smallbore, and I can't hold my Leupold FX3 30x as steady as I once could. So... I went searching for a lower powered scope option. As all of you probably know, most of the desired dedicated silhouette scopes have been discontinued. After what seemed like an eternity, I was able to find the elusive Sightrons (Big Sky SII62442SIL and Big Sky SII62442D) and a Leupold FX3 25x. After some testing, the Leupold 25x is still too much power, and I prefer the 1/4 min dot of the "D" model sightron over the 1/2 min dot of the "SIL" model. Also because it's less than 10 moa from chickens to rams, the 1/8 clicks are a non-issue for me (i.e., past zero).
For those who have stuck with me, I've decided to keep the Sightron SII62442D, and put the other three up for sale. The Sightron and the Leupold 25x I bought pre-owned; I am the original owner of the Leupold 30x.
Here are the details:
-Sightron Big Sky SII62442SIL. 1/2 min dot. 1/4 moa clicks. Had some ring marks that I was able to paint over with flat black auto paint. Otherwise perfect. Comes with sunshade, paperwork, and Sightron scope cover/lens wipe. As an aside, it could be sanded and ceracoted for $50. If you prefer, I can have that professionally done before shipping out. Just let me know, but will increase price by $50.
