Y'all... I've been absent from this forum for quite some time. Been going to college and bouncing around the country the past many years and unfortunately it has taken a toll on my ability to shoot silhouette, especially now that I am in Idaho. I am trying to sort out how to get back at it. In the mean time I made the "mistake" of buying a 338 Lapua "Rogue" and I am deciding to sell some of my firearms that don't see the light of day anymore to help fund that. This Savage model "110S" is one of those. I bought this rifle with the SS Shilen 22-250 barrel on it and then installed a SS Shilen "Ratchet Twist" barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor to use in HP silhouette. It has a Canjar single-set trigger on it which is great for the versatility of shooting off the bench when "set" in the ounces, or if you don't set the trigger it functions as normal.

The stock is the factory silhouette stock that Savage released (in the 80's I think). It has a blind magazine box in it. The rifle weighs 10lb 6oz with the 6.5-20x Leupold (not included) on it according to my digital fish scale. With a fixed power scope it easily comes in under the standard rifle silhouette limit.

Shilen 6.5 Creedmoor barrel (about 250 rounds fired)
1/8 "Ratchet Twist" 4 groove stainless steel match select
23.5" in length

Shilen 22-250 barrel (unknown rounds fired but when borescoped it looks new, I've never shot it that I remember)
1/14 twist stainless steel
26.125" in length
This is a heavy varmint barrel and does not use a barrel nut. This is a standard shouldered barrel installed by a gunsmith and machined for this action. Measures 1.245 at the shoulder and has a 3" shank and straight taper to 0.765" at the muzzle.

Looking for $650. The Shilen 6.5mm Creedmoor barrel was $450 alone
Leupold scope not included

The 22-250 barrel is stainless with what I would describe as a very smooth bead blasted finish. It is matte in color but smooth in texture.
