Looking for the impossible, a 54 action with left hand bolt. Need it for a project.

Have you pestered Steiger yet? I'd assume you wrong paws were subconsciously linked like the Corsican Brothers....

Re: WTB Anschutz action
I picked up an exemplar with bolt of the LEFT which is easier to find as it is a right handed pistol with a 54 trigger I believe, to try and make into a rifle.

I thought Exemplars were 64 actions for the rimfire and only the cf were 54 actions. Is this for you Kimbal?
Dont you have a sb gun?

Pat,
Yes this is me Kimbal. Yes I have a SB gun, but not a repeater. Don't we ALWAYS NEED another gun? As to the action, I defer to your expertise. I just thought it too good of a deal and had time here burning my brain up needing a project and found the pistol. Hope it works out. BTW have not pulled it out of the stock but cannot see any pins?

Just bite the bullet and get a LH Fortner action like Steiger does (I think he has TWO)

Fortners are great fun. Dedicated LH repeater action with the 5018 trigger. I do have a LH 54.18 MsR in an aftermarket stock. Fortners are funner. Just more expensive.

A friend of mine has a lefty 54 he wants to sell. It's either an 1807 or 1907 barreled action but he is selling the whole gun including sights. Not a bad deal I think. All the parts can be sold and you would come out pretty well. PM for contact info.
