Aguila Rifle Match

Post by xpilot »

From Champion Shooters.............."Aguila rimfire is shooting much better than what we experienced years ago. The Rifle Match and Pistol Match is impressive".

Anybody tried the Rifle Match lately ??

Hopefully it shoots better than my last experiment, RWS made Geco. Image

We used to practice with Geco with the Anschutz. But it seems to shoot better out of the CZs we use for the monthly silhouette matches. Plus at $4.74 a box through Sportsman's Guide, it really is hard to beat.

I never had much luck with the Mexican Eagle but I haven't shot any for about 5 years. Good luck with it. Yellow box SK is at a reasonable price also.

I loaned a box to a fellow shooter to try out in his 452 full stock. Couldn't get decent group between him or me shooting that rifle nor in my CST Titan or 541.

I've had expected results considering the price, but never shot the Eley Primed higher end stuff. Still cheaper than Sk Standard plus and SK has never been consistent enough to suit me while Center X is too pricey for it's performance. Eley Target is my usual go to, but its price has been on a significant rise over the last couple of years.

My brick arrived today. We'll see if I can get some time this weekend.

My original Stevens 44 really likes this Aquila rifle match. A friend of mine borrowed the rifle, and shot hisself into AAA scope on his first time out at the 22 bpcr nationals in Raton this past July.
