With Eley black box I was getting right at 1 1/2 inch groups at 100m with my 10/22 hunter gun. Every thing factory except the firing pin.

You have a couple good looking groups. What were the sizes of the smallest? Looks like the 10X won out with the SK doing quite well also.

About the size of the penny printed in the target.

Were there any other groups with the Norma Match?

I would see if I couldn't buy a couple of cases of the SK in the same lot number..... Quick... :D

So I got brave and bought 5000 rounds of SK Std. Plus.
(I knew I wasn't going to get the same lot number as the ones I have being they are over a year old.)
So it was a $595.00 crap shoot.

So I got lucky again:

Rcmark,

Did you have to relieve the barrel channel to fit that GM barrel? Did you free float the barrel or is the pressure point still at the front?

I bought a spare stock like that for my 10/22, and after free floating the barrel found the receiver rocking about 1/8 inch in the stock.

I have spent WAY TO MUCH Money on this.

Sightron SIII SS 6-32x50 LR MOA
KIDD Bolt Handle
KIDD Guide Rod & Spring Kit
KIDD .22LR Bolt
KIDD Two Stage Trigger
KIDD .22LR Bolt Buffer
KIDD .22LR Black Tapered Rifle Barrel 20"

(Tested ALL the good ammo).
Seems to be that floating the barrel is NOT GOOD.

In my opinion it will never be as accurate as a bolt gun.
My Stock CZ 455($300) shoots groups at least half the size of the 10/22.
