OK, I will not panic yet and go out and buy one right away. Please keep us informed. I REALLY like my FX3 25x Silhouette scope.

I have been told that they will be available through the custom shop although right now they are out of some of the necessary parts to build them. I have one on order as a test and will report when I find out more.

This is not good. They are 12 weeks behind on a reticle change for my hunting scope, I can't imagine how long it will take to get a silhouette scope made.

Is there any good news in silhouette these days?

I just bought a case of Wolf Target for $499 locally, that has to be good news.

That actually is good news. I rarely see quality ammo for sale in a store, so it is good news that you are finding Wolf. Even better that you can find it in bulk!

News from Leupold;

A production run of VX-3i 6.5-20X40 was just completed. I received the three I had reserved.

The custom shop is still waiting on production of "Main Tubes" for the fixed power scopes (FX-3's).
Word yesterday was that price on the FX-3's will remain the same.

Shoot at the middle.

That is good news Pete. Should an individual who wants to purchase a FX3 in 25 power with a 1/2 minute dot reticle order one now or wait until the main tubes to be made available?

David,the Custom shop is not taking any back orders at this time. They told me they want to have all the parts available before they commit to a build. I will keep you posted.
