I believe it's about 10 yards, maybe a bit less.

The smallest number on the side wheel focus says 50 yds on mine.

Mine is marked on the objective lens down to 50 feet. I checked and it will focus to a little less, maybe 45 + or -... 50 foot is very clear.

Gentlemen,

thank you for your replies. So, assuming it is really 50 ft and not yards, it should work on air rifle.

Any other light-weight scope that I could consider?

Kindest regards,

N

Mine all focus down to 14 yards. Haven't tried any closer than that.

If you have concerns about using it at short distances you can use a Leupold 50 ft adapter on a Weaver. I shot in an indoor league that shot 28 ft. I used to tape the adapter on with electrical tape. Worked like a charm.

Do you have a model number for the Leupold 50 ft adapter?

Yes. I used it yesterday for dry firing training. I need to dry fire for several hours a day if I hope to catch up to your scores.

Unfortunately I don"t have that kind of time. I am staying at work late so I can study for the Professional Engineer license exam. That cuts into my dry firing.

The adapter works well. At least for me it does. I wonder if they can be stacked to bring in the distance that can be focused to?
