My Weaver V-24 took a crap. Thought I would just get a Sightron SII 6x24x42 but, but nuts, they are no longer made. Would like higher power variable if possible, but I can't find anything suitable. The manufacturers are focusing on big, heavy' tactical scopes. Are my only options a used Leupold/Premiier boosted or a Bushnell 6x24?

Try putting out "want to buy" ads for what you really want both here and the other common websites like RFC, etc. You'd be surprised what will pop up when you publicly ask for something in particular. That's how I found my Weaver T-24 and Sightron Big Sky 6X-24X.

My V24 Weaver failed, so I think it's time to upgrade. Thanks all.
