Yes, it's mandatory and it shouldn't be something you have to pay to have custom built for you. The VX3 6.5-20x40 EFR Target is a standard model. Make sure to get the one with the target dot reticle.

Jason is this scope model # 66570 and has AIR RIFLE written on the gold ring.

Yes, the 6.5-20 is that model number and the last one I that used had "air rifle" on it to made it very clear that it was rated for springer airguns.
