Elevation Knob for a Burris Signature scope?

Post by cedestech »

I lucked out into a nice Burris SIgnature at a nice price that someone had already installed a 1/2" dot on fine cross hairs.

The only thing I dislike about the scope is the turrets knobs only have 2 set screws so no matter how carefully I tighten them the knob is slightly
asquew on the turret shaft. As you raise and lower the turret it gives the look of wobbling on the turn marking lines read from the body of the turret.

It's 1/8" clicks and only 8 minutes revolutions so I go past zero and have to be carefull from Rams to chickens.

Anyone know someone who makes knobs or am I gonna have to make one of my own?

Thanks.

Those guys on the yellow airgun forum always have special knobs for field target. I think a post over there can stir up some suppliers. And as a suggestion, Leupold knobs have 3 set screws, maybe ream out the center hole to fit the Burris shaft? Again I don't know the Burris so that may be just a stupid idea. Good luck.
